On Top of the World

On top of the World is a great place to experience life. After hitting one of the three 18-hole golf courses, residents can unwind at one of the three restaurants in the community. Moreover, Circle Square Commons is a fantastic venue for entertainment.

In addition to golf, the community boasts a variety of activities, including tennis, racquetball, softball, pickleball, RC flying, bocce, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and miniature golf. There are also plenty of opportunities for creative pursuits, such as the Art & Craft Studios, Woodworking Shop, and Model Railroaders Room.

For those interested in expanding their horizons, the Master the Possibilities Education Center provides a not-for-profit program with a variety of courses. The community also has a library, fitness center, spa, and multiple pools. The Arbor Activity Center is a great place for events and gatherings.

The Golf Courses at On Top of the World

There are three golf courses at On Top of the World. They are:

Candler Hills Golf Course

This par 72 championship course is designed as a Palm Springs-style course and has the longest par 5 in Florida. It is a semi-private course where not only can you golf, but you can have lessons from PGA and LPGA professionals. There is an attached golf shop and is adjacent to The Club at Candler Hills, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or have a Sunday brunch or enjoy a drink at the full-service bar.

The Tortoise & The Hare

This is a private 18-hole golf course which is exclusive to just residents and their guests. This course is a shot maker’s delight. There are no initiation fees or club minimums, you can get the lessons from PGA and LPGA professionals, and there’s planned mixers, scrambles, and tournaments for even more fun.

Like the Tortoise & the Hare, this course is a private 18-hole golf course. Exclusive, as well, this course has a more traditional southern flavor to it. Besides the course, there is a driving range, short game, and practice putting areas to hone your skills. There are men’s and women’s leagues, and as with both other courses, a fully stocked golf shop and lessons from PGA and LPGA professionals.

The Pub: Offers lunch, dinner, and a full service bar.

The Club at Candler Hills: Lunch, cocktails, and light dinner is served at the Club.

Sid’s Coffee Shop & Deli: Offering breakfast and lunch just outside the gates in Circle Square Commons.
